The Long House is located on the more peaceful, less populated and unspoiled east side of the island within the Peninsula Development, and since Antigua boasts a plethora (over 300) of beaches, it is an ideal base to rest and relax after exploring the natural beauties of the island or just "stay at home" and enjoy the tranquility The Long House offers. The world renowned beach at Half Moon Bay is about a 20 minute drive, with the nearest large beach Long Bay, only about a 10 minute drive away. This 2011 built four bedroom home is located on the eastern side of the beautiful Caribbean island of Antigua, very close to a small village of
typical Antiguan character, named Willikies. The Villa is built within 1.4 acres on a picturesque peninsula and enjoys breath taking and tranquil panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the nearby bays on both sides

The house covers over 7,000 sqft of both indoor and outdoor living space. The immense and well kept garden, which runs all the way down to the sea, flourishes with an array of tropical plants and palm trees. There is scope for a dock to be built within the grounds to keep boats, launch kayaks etc. The bay at the base of the Villa is also deep enough so that a yacht mooring could be secured and a yacht kept within the bay. Back up at the house, shady pergolas on both the east and west sides of the villa provide the perfect spot for some afternoon reading away from the intense sun. Sunrise and Sunset views are a bonus of this east/west facing home.

The pool takes front and center stage at this property. The entire living area opens out on to the pool and wraparound deck. There is an outdoor dining area, sun deck and covered seating area each enjoying the view of the waterway. The cooling breezes make this area perfect to enjoy both day and night, great for entertaining. Fitted with professional grade stainless steel appliances including a double door refrigerator, five burner stove, convectional oven, microwave oven, dish washer and other small appliances. Pure white Italian cabinets topped with marble, were both carefully chosen to enhance the space. A large island unit with butchers block adorns the centre of the kitchen with stools for enjoying a casual breakfast or coffee. Adjoining the kitchen is a large pantry.

The living room is tastefully furnished with imported Italian sofas, side tables with lamps, a coffee table, television cabinet and other elite
pieces. The dining area features a hand crafted rustic wooden dining table with two rustic wooden benches and traditional chairs placed at the short ends. The living and indoor dining area have custom wooden folding doors to allow the house to be either fully open on both sides or closed for privacy as one chooses.

The sun terrace, just off the living area, provides the perfect space to sit and chat or sneak away and read a book in the shade while benefiting from those cooling breezes. The hand cut stone floors and slatted pergola really give it a Mediterranean feel.

Although the area enjoys a constant breeze, all four en-suite bedrooms have ceiling fans. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a four poster queen size bed, night stands with lamps and a spacious walk-in closet. The bathroom is furnished with top quality bathroom fittings and an open air shower. Bedroom 2 is located close to the first but with ample space between rooms for privacy. These two rooms also have between them a linen closet / storage room.

Further down the large veranda from the living area is the Master Suite which is accessible from both sides of the Villa. This room is furnished
with a king size four poster bed, night stands with lamps, lounge chair and a large walk-in closet.

All of the four en-suite bathrooms are identical in character; they are all very large with open roof showers covered by a mesh with travertine floors and walls in the shower.
